I.am.hardcore.
Okay, so! Sunday after work I went to Montreal and ~sweetxfaith and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn! Man, that place it so ritzy o_____o; Anyways, back to the point! We travelled there to attend a concert. Opening for Hollywood Undead and Atreyu was The Sleeping and Escape the Fate!
When the show finally started, we were in the fourth row, give or take. Now, I knew this would not do. For our main bands I was determined to be up front and let the bands know I was there, and who I was. I figured "Hey, we've only got 3 rows to scootch through, this should be a cinch once everyone's moving!"
Under normal circumstances, this would be true
By the time Escape the Fate came out, our beloved ~sweetxfaith found herself in a sort of concussion-like state, as a crowdsurfer curb-stomped her cranium, most likely unintentionally xP They opened with "Situations", a crowd favorite judging from their reactions xD Craig was insanely in-the-zone as he commanded our attention, and when my absolute favorite song, "This War Is Ours (The Guillotine Pt. II)" started, I was ecstatic
After Escape the Fate, honey and I headed for a drink at the bar, and we downed some Smirnoff Ice xD That shit's good! o_____o
We headed back after that and attempted to maneuver our way to the front from the side, which didn't work out so well Dx It seems people weren't stupid when it comes to the revered front row positions v___v But being the determined little fucker I was, I made my way to the front row for Atreyu
When Hollywood Undead made it to the stage, they were welcomed with applause from every inch of the venue
My favorite moment definitely had to be when the guitarist jumped down to give attention to the fans, after he managed to get his arms back from the swarm of fans, he proceeded off to the side--where I was! He glanced in my direction as I reached my arm out, and he grabbed my hand and shook it
All that could be heard from the crowd was "Undead! Undead!" After a while, the drummer came out and performed a crazy drum solo! xD The rest of the gang headed out after, and an encore was delivered with participation from the crowd
I have so many bruises, and a few cuts. My hair, shirt, and pants were all soaked with sweat by the time I made it out, and I felt so ALIVE!!
